Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andy Terror!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Holm!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Alyssa Summers and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Terror or perhaps it was just good defense by Holm, which made it look bad.
Holm with the counter takedown but Terror avoids it easily.
Holm throws a nice looking combination but Terror bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Terror misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Terror tries to clinch there but Holm circles away.
Terror is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Holm keeps the fight on the outside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Holm takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Terror tries to kick Holm off but Holm keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Terror has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Holm is working away from the top position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Terror avoids a punch combination nicely.
Holm throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Holm swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Terror counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Terror throws a front kick aimed at Holm's knee but Holm avoids it well.
Tyler Holm is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Terror throws a head kick but Holm moves out of range.
Terror throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Holm's waist but Holm gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Terror off to one side.
Terror motions for Holm to come forward. Terror throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Holm leaves Terror with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Terror moves away from the strike by Holm.

A looping hook to the body misses from Holm. Terror does a little dance to reset his feet.

Terror changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Holm fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Holm holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Terror tries to score a body lock takedown but Holm shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Tyler Holm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Holm wants the takedown. Terror is fighting it off but Holm persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Terror's guard against the cage.

Terror manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Holm manages to get himself to full guard.


Terror gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Terror shoots for a double leg takedown but Holm sprawls well. He's pushed Terror's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Holm tries to counter with a clinch but Terror shakes him off and moves away.

Terror manages to work his way to half guard, despite Holm's best efforts.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Holm in particular looking to stall.
Holm wants to free his trapped foot but Terror is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The fighters are battling for position here. Terror manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well Holm has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
