Junior Pacquiao showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugh G Rection (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rip James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rection comes to the cage accompanied by Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth. The crowd seem to be enjoying James's choice of entrance music: What's the difference. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rection swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

James steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rection.
Rection swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
James misses with the combination.
James shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rection as he avoids it easily.
James slips under a jab from Rection.
James changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rection tries to avoid it but James manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rection to the ground. Rection escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

James shoots in and bounces Rection off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
James looks gassed!
James tries to free his leg and advance position but Rection is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Hugh G Rection will probably get the nod.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice straight punches there by Rection. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rection.
Rection throws a leg kick which misses James's front leg but catches the back leg as James tries to avoid it.
Rection lands a nice shot that snaps James's head back.
Rection rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
