The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zombie shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Zombie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Quieroz takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Quieroz swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Zombie counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Estan Quieroz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Quixote got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bayushi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Quixote has managed to get both his arms back between Bayushi's legs - danger averted.

Kimura really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schoonover. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kimura is fighting to break Schoonover's control of his arms but Schoonover is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Kimura drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kimura jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
