Tamaka feints and then cracks Ilves's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ilves down.

Good leg kick by Dibiase there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dibiase attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Dibiase pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dibiase throws a right and a left that Mir avoids nicely.
Mir connects with a solid leg kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Dibiase misses the target.
Dibiase lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dibiase.

and Mir counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dibiase won't be happy with that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dibiase tries to get to full guard but Mir has control of the leg.
Dibiase preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Dibiase really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mir. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mir has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Dibiase is refusing to be controlled, as Mir sits in half guard.
Dibiase blocking the ground and pound attempt from Mir.
Dibiase tries to roll over but Mir keeps him under control.
Mir throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dibiase throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mir swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Dibiase drops Mir with a beautiful combination! Mir stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dibiase is looking for the KO!

Mir is rocked!

It looks like Cain Mir has been cut.
Mir bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Dibiase comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Mir falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Mir was out before he hit the floor!
