And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Giuseppe Omni!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Head doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Head scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Omni misses with a wild combination.
Boot Head seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Head throws a low kick but Omni moves out of range easily.
Head misses with a low kick.
Omni does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Omni drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Omni stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Head swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Omni lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Omni missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Head is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Omni is looking to advance position but Head has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Head wants to control the pace but Omni is squirming around nicely.
Omni keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Head can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Omni is looking to escape.
Omni can't escape the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Head wants to control the pace but Omni is squirming around nicely.
Omni tries to lock up and control but Head gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Omni tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Head tries to control but Omni wriggling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Giuseppe Omni dominated that round.
That's time! Head's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Head throws a head kick but Omni moves out of range.
Head throws a chopping leg kick but Omni manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Omni walks forward, straight into a front kick from Head.
Omni keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A solid body kick from Head.
Head misses with a head kick.
Head throws a nice head kick!
Head turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Head wants to slow Omni down by chopping away at his legs.
Head throws a leg kick which misses Omni's front leg but catches the back leg as Omni tries to avoid it.
Head feints and then cracks Omni's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Omni down.
Omni tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Head lands a big head kick that sends Omni tumbling to the mat! Head takes a step backwards and waves Omni back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Omni is rocked!

A nice leg kick lands there from Head.
Omni is still on wobbly legs! Can Head finish him?
Head throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Head feints a jab and as Omni dips his head, Head unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Omni right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Omni falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Head smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Boot Head!
