Hopgood seems to be working for a kimura but Rodriguez defends the submission attempt.
Hopgood is nestled in close to Rodriguez, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hopgood in particular looking to stall.

Vivar I changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Proctor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Vivar I tries for a kimura but Proctor is defending well.
Proctor can't do much from the bottom here.
Proctor is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Vivar I has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Vivar I tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Vivar I has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Vivar I tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Proctor is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Vivar I asserts his dominance and retains side control.
