Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Addiel Glez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aaron Nevemore!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Lou da Vinci and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nevemore throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Glez on the side of the head.
Glez throws a shot from downtown. Nevemore moves away and avoids it.
Glez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nevemore tries to clinch but Glez is having none of it.
Nevemore turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Nevemore avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nevemore chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Nevemore buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Glez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Glez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Glez showed some decent athleticism there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nevemore pushes Glez off looking to stand but Glez dives back in and keeps control.
Nevemore won't allow Glez to pass to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Glez seems to be working for a kimura but Nevemore defends the submission attempt.
Nevemore looks like he's trying to stand up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Glez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nevemore to the mat! Nevemore manages to get full guard.

Nevemore wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Nevemore sneaks out the side door and pushes Glez away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Aaron Nevemore will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Nevemore lands a big head kick that sends Glez tumbling to the mat! Nevemore takes a step backwards and waves Glez back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Glez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Glez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nevemore knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Nevemore throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Nevemore tries to close the distance and clinch but Glez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nevemore throws a nice inside leg kick.
Nevemore throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Nevemore throws a powerful right kick. Glez tried to block low but the kick was high! Glez was taken right off of his feet! Nevemore jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
