No luck for Dysprosium with that takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Groove throws a series of strikes that have Dysprosium backpedaling.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Dysprosium shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Groove's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dysprosium accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dysprosium with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Groove is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Dysprosium rolls with it to try and escape but Groove cranks on the arm and Dysprosium is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kendall Groove!
Kendall Groove is the new middleweight champion!
