The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erichsen lands with a shot to the body.
Mamba looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Erichsen throws the left hand but Mamba avoids the punch easily.
Erichsen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mamba at a distance.
We've been told by Erichsen's head coaches at 020 Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Erichsen lands a jab to the head.
Erichsen throws a hook but Mamba avoids it easily.
Erichsen throws a body punch but Mamba moves out of range.

It looks like Eto Mamba has been cut.
The fight stays on the outside here - Erichsen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Erichsen feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mambas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Mamba swats away the attempt to clinch by Erichsen.
Erichsen catches Mamba with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Erichsen cracks Mamba with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Erichsen has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mamba to stand back up!
Mamba is rocked!
Erichsen cracks Mamba on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Mamba falls backwards against the cage. Erichsen follows up with more strikes that drop Mamba to his knees. Erichsen keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Mamba! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardwick shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hayes as he jumps to the side.
Hayes stuffs the takedown.
Hayes drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Hardwick defends it well.
Hayes has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Hardwick feints and as Hayes raises his hands in defense, Hardwick changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hayes has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Hardwick has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Hayes wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
