The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Djuric throws a right and a left that Hamedov avoids nicely.
Hamedov fails with a takedown attempt.

Djuric displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hamedov.

Djuric stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Djuric wants it to stay on the feet.

Hamedov thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Djuric is looking to reverse the position.
Hamedov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Djuric. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hamedov goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Djuric has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hamedov but great work by Djuric.
