And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jon Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jackson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jackson lands in his opponent's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jackson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ayari enables Jackson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ayari manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Jackson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Jackson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ayari looks calm but he's in trouble here. Jackson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ayari is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Jackson lets go of the hold and Ayari can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jon Jackson!
Jon Jackson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Mounir Ayari spoke after the fight, saying 'Thank you to my opponent and all the fans, my coaches and sponsors.'.

letting Glover counter with a right hand.
Hasty walks into a straight right hand from Glover.
Hasty darts in trying to clinch
and Glover counters with a stiff right hand.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hasty darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hasty throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Glover sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hasty throws a jab but it's blocked by Glover.
Hasty keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hasty fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Glover looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Colin Hasty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hasty wants to clinch
and Glover cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hasty is rocked!
Hasty throws a head kick that misses.
Hasty is still on wobbly legs! Can Glover finish him?
Hasty misses with a right hand
and Glover counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Hasty falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!

Roger Glover decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
