and Marcus counters with a three punch combo that has Sterling backing up. Sterling nods at Marcus to acknowledge the strikes.
Sterling tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Marcus defends well and Sterling ends up having to push Marcus into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Marcus pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Sterling shoots in for a takedown but Marcus shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sterling or perhaps it was just good defense by Marcus, which made it look bad.

and Marcus rattles Sterling with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Sterling tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Marcus dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Sterling stiff and motionless on the mat!
