Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randy No Neck (ranked 2275 p4p, 1194 weight class) and Azad Bekzod (ranked 297 p4p, 153 weight class). Bekzod has chosen "Weird" Al Yankovic - Amish Paradise as his entrance music. Azad Bekzod told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Randy No Neck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Azad Bekzod!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bekzod forces No Neck back against the cage and clinches.
Bekzod looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

No Neck breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
No Neck misses with a body shot.
Bekzod throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bekzod smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bekzod fakes high and swings low for a body shot but No Neck manages to avoid it.
No Neck lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

No Neck is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
No Neck throws the left hand but Bekzod avoids the punch easily.

Bekzod moves in looking to clinch but No Neck pushes him off.

No Neck takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Bekzod is sitting in close to No Neck's body. No Neck has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bekzod is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bekzod is tapping! That was a very nice submission by No Neck.

After winning the bout, Randy No Neck thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Beznisko's entrance music is JANE AIR — Junk. A fine choice. Jalo Ilmarinen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.
