The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dess tries to clinch up but Man circles away and keeps his distance.
Dess throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
John Dess seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dess swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Dess tries to score with a low kick but Man moves his leg out of the way.
Dess is looking to clinch but Man is avoiding it.

Dess kicks Man off and gets to his feet.
Man shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dess as he avoids it easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dess lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Man has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Man and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
The fighters circling - Dess throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dess throws a front kick aimed at Man's knee but Man avoids it well.

Man moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Dess has worked his arm free - good work by Dess!

Man goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Dess rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Man's guard! Nice work there by Dess!

Man isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dess stacks Man on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dess!

That was a close second round but I would say that Snow Man will probably get the nod.

Some bone on bone action there as Man checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
John Dess is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Dess gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Man to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Man has gone for a leg lock! Dess slips out almost immediately though and dives into Man's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Man is on top in guard.
Dess is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Man drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dess manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Man has Dess in his guard.
Man wants to sweep here but Dess controlling him for the moment.

Dess has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Man is proving hard to escape from.

Dess stands and steps away. Man gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Man.
Dess tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Man paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice uppercut lands for Dess. That snapped Man's head back.
Snow Man is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Man blocks a low kick nicely.

Man has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Man there as he acknowledges the shot.
Dess lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Dess tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Man is able to avoid easily.
Dess has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Man will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Dess throws a lazy right hand but Man sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Man shoots in for a takedown but Dess shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
