Karhu drops Corbin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Corbin looks back up at him and smiles so Karhu waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Fontes's coach down at California Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fontes's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Hank Houston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Fontes.
Fontes shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Houston as he jumps to the side.

Lucas Fontes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Houston rushes Fontes with punches - Fontes moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Fontes goes down! Houston follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Santiago takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Valentino Santiago has been cut.
Hunter lands a nice looking body shot.
Hunter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Santiago's hands.
Hunter cracks Santiago with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Santiago tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Hunter pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Santiago is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
