And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Marxer!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marxer scores with a kick to the midsection.
Moustaffa throws a jab but it's blocked by Marxer.
Moustaffa misses with an uppercut.
Marxer connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A punch combination from Marxer misses.
Marxer has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Marxer there as he acknowledges the shot.
Marxer fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Moustaffa quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Moustaffa ducks under a wild hook from Marxer.
A little feinted left hand from Moustaffa on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Marxer scores with a nice strike.
Marxer misses with a takedown attempt - Moustaffa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Moustaffa misses with the combination.
Marxer misses with a body shot.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Marxer has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Marxer feints and then cracks Moustaffa's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Moustaffa down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That kick from Moustaffa tenderised Marxer's leg. Marxer is trying to keep his angry face on.

Marxer misses with a kick to the body
and Moustaffa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Marxer scores with a jab. Moustaffa acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Marxer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Moustaffa.
A big left from Marxer misses.

Oooh a lovely combination from Marxer sends Moustaffa down but not out. Marxer dives into side control looking to finish.
Moustaffa is rocked!
It looks like Aahad Moustaffa has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Marxer cracks Moustaffa with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Marxer immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Moustaffa is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Marxer!

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Koromos (ranked 2262 p4p, 2944 weight class) and Demarques Mills (ranked 272 p4p, 346 weight class). Koromos's entrance music is Matthew Parker - Signal (SPES INVICTA Remix). A fine choice. Mills comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kurt Angle - Medal (Entrance Theme) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Koromos sends Mills crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Koromos is motioning to the referee to let Mills up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Demarques Mills has been cut.
A head kick misses from Koromos.
Koromos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mills shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Koromos sprawls well. Koromos wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mills gets slowly back to his feet.
Mills shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Koromos as he avoids it easily.
Koromos lands a hook that stumbles Mills back into the cage. Koromos follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Mills to the canvas! Koromos pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Mills has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Our winner, John Koromos, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
