The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Thomas.
Thomas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dickson.
Jax Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dickson misses the jab.
Thomas avoids the body shot from Dickson.
It seemed like Thomas was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Thomas rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dickson counters with a nice uppercut.
Thomas connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dickson. Dickson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

A little jabbing left from Thomas on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Thomas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dickson circles away quickly and effectively.
A quick step to the side and Dickson tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Thomas ducks under a wild hook from Dickson.
Dickson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Thomas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dickson sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Dickson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dickson throws a jab when Thomas was well out of range.
Thomas throws a head kick but Dickson moves out of range.
Dickson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dickson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Thomas cracks Dickson with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Dickson get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Dickson looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thomas ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Dickson out cold! The fight is over!
