The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Karelin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Young sprawls well initially but Karelin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Karelin takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
It looks like Karelin might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Karelin not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Karelin is looking for a kimura but Young is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Karelin to get the leverage.

Young has left one of his arms exposed and Karelin doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Young screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
