The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baxter fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Haba has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Baxter tries to land a front kick but Haba steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Haba looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Baxter!
Baxter is trying to get back to half guard.

Haba thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Baxter is looking to reverse the position.

Haba tries for a kimura but Baxter is defending well.

Haba has hold of Baxter's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Baxter tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Haba cranks the arm and Baxter screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Baxter, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Moore bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Petrov digs a good body shot into Moore's ribs.
Moore slips under a jab from Petrov.

Petrov throws a series of punches but Moore moves out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rader lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie circles away quickly and effectively.
