Pappa throws a right hand that Aoki ducks under and follows up with a left that Aoki also avoids with ease.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Aoki.
Pappa misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Pappa wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Pappa tries to bench press Aoki off him but Aoki keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pappa is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Aoki asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Aoki is working to tighten is grip on Pappa's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pappa has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Aoki is really squeezing tight and eventually Pappa passes out! Aoki breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
