Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ripley takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Ripley works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Gareth Jones has been cut.
Ripley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Ripley moves out of range easily.

Ripley connects with a right hand. Jones shakes it off.

Cross avoids the head kick by Ferdinand.
Ferdinand takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Cross stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A head kick from Ferdinand lands but Cross takes it in his stride.
Cross works Ferdinand's body with a nice hook.
Ferdinand is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cross throws a shot to the body.
Ferdinand stuffs the takedown.
Cross misses with a hook. Ferdinand ducked under it nicely.
Ferdinand looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ferdinand keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cross connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ferdinand's hands.
Cross takes a swing at Ferdinand's ribcage but misses.
David Cross seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cross ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Ferdinand's jaw. Ferdinand's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Cross does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
