Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Ace Dudley was cancelled.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viki tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Murphy was well out of range. Poor timing from Viki.

Viki lands a left and a right that send Murphy crashing to the mat, dazed. Viki thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Mick Murphy has been cut.
The fighters circling - Viki throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

We've been informed that Viki has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Mick Murphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Murphy is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Viki goes for a small jab and connects. Now Viki goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Murphy stumbles back but Viki runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Murphy to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Murphy will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
