The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes fails with the takedown
and Crackudo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Hector Holmes has been cut.
Crackudo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Holmes circles away quickly and effectively.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Holmes is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Holmes tries for a takedown. No joy.
Vai Crackudo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector Holmes.
Holmes's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

I was talking to Crackudo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Holmes is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Crackudo gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holmes is trying to drag Crackudo to the mat but Crackudo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Holmes has Crackudo pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Crackudo manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Crackudo digs a right hand into Holmes's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Holmes's gas tank.
Holmes has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Crackudo after a bit of a struggle.
Crackudo lands a right hand that snaps the head of Holmes backwards.

It looks like Rav Kapur has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kapur.
It looked like Pjetlic wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Pjetlic misses with a body shot.
Pjetlic lunges at Kapur with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kapur's hand.
Pjetlic thuds his right hand into Kapur's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
