Jones II rushes Ray and presses him up against the cage.
Ray jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones II walks away with a smile on his face. Ray gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Cabal stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Cabal wants it to stay on the feet.

Anderson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cabal did well to prevent Anderson getting side control.

Vandrax drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ranger looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ranger looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ranger!
Chuck Ranger overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Vandrax manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Ranger is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Vandrax still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Vandrax has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Vandrax goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ranger has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Vandrax but great work by Ranger.
