These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Bracho looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bracho shoots in but Blade avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Blade seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Blade misses with a body kick.
Bracho tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Blade defends well and Bracho ends up having to push Blade into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bracho throws a series of punches but Blade avoids them all with ease.
Blade sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Bracho misses with a straight left.
Bracho lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blade circles away quickly and effectively.
Bracho misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blade drops down looking for a counter takedown but Bracho sprawls and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blade closes the distance and pushes Bracho back into the cage.
Bracho is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Blade is defending well for now.
Bracho is trying to drag Blade to the mat but Blade just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Blade jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bracho walks away with a smile on his face. Blade gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bracho stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Blade gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Blade tries to pull guard but Bracho holds him up against the cage and eventually Blade drops back down to his feet.

Bracho slaps away a takedown attempt from Blade, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Blade tries to score with a low kick but Bracho moves his leg out of the way.

Blade throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A nice side step and Bracho releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Blade instigates a clinch.

Bracho pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Blade throws a series of strikes that have Bracho backpedaling.
It looks like Javier Bracho has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Blade shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bracho pinned against the cage. Bracho gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Blade lands with a nice combination. Bracho backs away looking to recover.

Blade escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bracho fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Blade closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Blade manages to break the clinch.
Blade dives in for a single leg takedown but Bracho sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bracho is nestled in close to Blade, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Bracho creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Blade sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Bracho has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Horrible takedown attempt by Bracho or perhaps it was just good defense by Blade, which made it look bad.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bracho is pressed up against the cage. Blade has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bracho down to the mat. Bracho avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

I would just about give that final round to Javier Bracho.

Dawg ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Dawg looks to land a combination. Lee sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Robert Lee has been cut.

Dawg throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Lee colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Dawg as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Lee is left battered and dazed whilst Dawg and his camp cheer!

Bad Dawg decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Outess is looking to defend but Bryant has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Outess! Bryant pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Outess taps out and this one is all over!
