Vurris has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Nwaoge had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vurris defends it easily.

Vurris is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Nwaoge has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Vurris is looking to defend but Nwaoge has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Vurris! Nwaoge pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Vurris taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Medzavi Nwaoge!
