Max comes into the arena with Fury Road blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Ubereem screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Prawira working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Tacktheritrix pushes Prawira away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Prawira gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Vanorden lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A punch lands to the side of Kiran 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Vanorden rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kiran cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kiran takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kiran has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vanorden finds it's way round the side to connect with Kiran's head.
Kiran uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vanorden.

It's a brutal combination of punches from Kiran! Vanorden is backing up but he can't get away as Kiran lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Vanorden and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Sogrin went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
We've been told by Sogrin's head coaches at Tycoon Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sogrin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A little jabbing left from Nail on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Konstantin Sogrin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Nail counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Sogrin swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sogrin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
