The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paz looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The Dream kicks off Paz and gets to his feet. The Dream looks for a takedown. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rapid changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sultan tries to avoid it but Rapid manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sultan to the ground. Sultan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rapid changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sultan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sultan tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Rapid really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sultan . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rapid punishes Sultan with strikes from the back mount. Rapid avoiding Sultan 's attempts to control his hands. You can see the frustration on Sultan 's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baller shoots in for a double leg but Marks sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Baller thumps Marks with a low kick. Marks showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Baller.
Baller throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Marks stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Baller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Baller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Baller thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. You can see the frustration on Marks's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Baller stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marks will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Baller has closed the distance and engaged Marks in a clinch.
Baller jumps guard and drags Marks to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Marks with a flurry of punches that miss. Baller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marks. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Marks wanted to stand there but Baller had control of the position. Marks has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Baller looking for a sweep. Not yet Baller, not yet. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Marks's half guard. Baller thows a huge punch but Marks dodges it nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Baller is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Marks has managed to free his arm - good work.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cees closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Cees lands in his opponent's guard. Cees throws a big right hand that misses. Cees looking to sit in guard and control but Winner gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Winner is stalling in the full guard. Cees is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winner loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Winner has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
