Maluga bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Maluga throws a leg kick which misses Piano 's front leg but catches the back leg as Piano tries to avoid it.
Piano swings for the body but Maluga moves out of range.

Piano takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Piano avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Piano swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kilo Maluga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maluga lands with a shot to the body.
Maluga lands a left and a right that send Piano crashing to the mat, dazed. Maluga thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Maluga feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Piano sprawling to the canvas! Piano rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Maluga finish him?!

and Piano counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Maluga thinking.
Maluga lands with a kick to the ribs.
Piano looks winded!
Piano stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Maluga.
Piano checks a low kick from Maluga.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Piano ! But no joy.
Piano rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maluga moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Maluga throws a jab but it's blocked by Piano .
Piano now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Maluga lands with a cross.
Maluga ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Piano takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Piano gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Maluga points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Piano wakes up just in time to hear Maluga thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
