The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindemann swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Valentine counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lindemann shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Valentine counters with a nice uppercut.
Lindemann throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Valentine counter with a right hand.
Valentine connects with a nice looking jab.
Valentine throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lindemann stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Lindemann shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Valentine defends it nicely.

Valentine feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lindemann sprawling to the canvas! Lindemann rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Valentine finish him?!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Valentine steps in with a hook that catches Lindemann right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Valentine follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Lindemann looks absolutely devastated.

With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bruce Vanorden!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Horace Cuba!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanorden digs a good body shot into Cuba's ribs.
Cuba fails with an attempt to clinch.
Vanorden slips a jab and a cross from Cuba.
Vanorden was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Cuba shoots in for a takedown but Vanorden shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Vanorden misses with a straight left.
Vanorden darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Vanorden avoids the body shot from Cuba.
Cuba takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Vanorden throws a hook but Cuba avoids it easily.
Cuba has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Vanorden blocks a jab.
Cuba tries to clinch up but Vanorden circles away and keeps his distance.
Vanorden connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Cuba momentarily.

Cuba walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Vanorden throws a hook but Cuba avoids it easily.

Vanorden throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cuba on the side of the head.

Cuba uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vanorden.
Vanorden throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Cuba counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Vanorden seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A big left from Vanorden misses.
Cuba wants to counter the offense by Vanorden and move into the clinch position.
Vanorden cracks Cuba with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Cuba takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Cuba bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Vanorden throws a lazy right hand but Cuba sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Vanorden throws a jab when Cuba was well out of range.
Cuba takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Cuba uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Vanorden.
Vanorden throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Vanorden lands a glancing blow to the side of Cuba's head.
Vanorden looks to throw the jab but Cuba is out of range.
Vanorden steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cuba.
A little feinted left hand from Vanorden on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Vanorden is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Cuba throws a lazy right hand but Vanorden sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Vanorden is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Vanorden misses with a straight right.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vanorden scores with a decent looking hook.

Cuba on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Vanorden lands with a straight right. Cuba didn't see that one coming.
Cuba swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Vanorden.
Vanorden scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Nice uppercut lands for Vanorden. That snapped Cuba's head back.
Vanorden tests Cuba's chin there with a solid looking shot.

and Vanorden counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cuba doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Bruce Vanorden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cuba swings for the body but Vanorden moves out of range.

Cuba on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Cuba is rocked!
Vanorden weaves into range and cracks Cuba right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Cuba goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Vanorden is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bruce Vanorden!
