Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Tam is working Panda over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Panda escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tam gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Panda really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Panda tries to bench press Tam off him but Tam keeps the position.
Tam is staying tight to Panda's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Panda is trying to control Tam's posture but Tam avoids it.
Tam working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Let's hope that Tam has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Tam. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

That was a close round but I would say that Brutus Leagatius will probably get the nod.

A very excited looking Brutus Leagatius rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Boss fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Takeishi.
Takeishi misses with a looping right.
Takeishi lands with an overhand left.
Mitsugu Takeishi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takeishi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boss moves away.
We've been informed that Boss has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Boss thumps Takeishi with a low kick.
Takeishi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Kaptajnernes Tr�ningscenter in the buildup to the fight.
No joy there for Takeishi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Boss lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

and Boss counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
