Kozulj closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Faucci did well to prevent Kozulj getting side control.
Kozulj is trying to control the action in half guard but Faucci is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Kozulj is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Faucci defends it well.
Faucci is trying to stand.
Faucci on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Faucci tries to get out of the position.
Kozulj is looking to take a break and control but Faucci is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Faucci could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Faucci stuffs the takedown attempt from Kozulj. Kozulj gets slowly back to his feet.
A cross from Faucci lands.
Faucci stalks Kozulj and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kozulj's face. Kozulj staggers backwards, shaken.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Faucci feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kozulj sprawling to the canvas! Kozulj rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Faucci finish him?!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kozulj is defended easily by Faucci.

Faucci drops Kozulj with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kozulj looks back up at him and smiles so Faucci waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Faucci looks to score with a jab to the body but Kozulj is just out of range.
Kozulj drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Faucci defends it well.
Kozulj seems to have recovered his senses.
Faucci connects with a combination that backs up Kozulj into the cage. Faucci lands a flurry of punches that gets past Kozulj's guard. Kozulj is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Faucci bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
