And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Franck Kodjia!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grabber steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kodjia.
Kodjia throws a head kick but Grabber moves out of range.
Grabber missing with a left hand there. Kodjia was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kodjia wants to counter with a clinch but Grabber pushes him away.
Grabber connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Kodjia on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Franck Kodjia has been cut.
Grabber throws an overhand right that drops Kodjia like a sack of potatoes! Grabber dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Horse misses with a wild body shot.
Manowaru has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Horse lands with a nice body kick.
Horse checks a low kick from Manowaru.
Horse is trying to counter with his kicks.
The fight stays on the outside here - Manowaru looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Manowaru lands a jab to the head.
It looks like Roar Horse has been cut.
A solid body kick from Horse.
Manowaru uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Horse.
Manowaru was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Horse takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Manowaru lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A thudding body kick lands there by Manowaru!
Manowaru slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A solid body kick from Manowaru.
Horse ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Manowaru moves away.
Manowaru tried to score with a low kick but Horse checks it.
Horse takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A looping hook to the body misses from Manowaru. Horse does a little dance to reset his feet.
Horse takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Manowaru connects with a looping right hand.

Manowaru drops Horse with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Horse looks back up at him and smiles so Manowaru waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Horse is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Manowaru fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Horse looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Horse looks winded!
Horse throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Manowaru lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Manowaru scores with a jab. Horse acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Horse is still on wobbly legs! Can Manowaru finish him?

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Manowaru lands a brutal uppercut that launches Horse off his feet! Horse tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hiro Manowaru!
