Smith tries for a takedown but Koket sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Cozad.

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Hecker Jr (ranked 4123 p4p, 5546 weight class) and Ryan Kelly (ranked 413 p4p, 471 weight class). Jeff Hecker Jr had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!
