Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chief Seminole (ranked 6324 p4p, 2695 weight class) and Toktogulovich Bakiyev (ranked 541 p4p, 323 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Toktogulovich Bakiyev was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

It seemed like Bakiyev was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Bakiyev jabs Seminole to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Seminole shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Seminole looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bakiyev with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Seminole is nestled in close to Bakiyev, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Seminole lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Bakiyev quite badly. Bakiyev pulls Seminole in close trying to recover. Seminole postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Bakiyev on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Bakiyev doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chief Seminole!
An out of breath Chief Seminole thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
