Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hayden tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shutes swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Engozi's entrance music is Run and Escape. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Engozi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Engozi lands in his opponent's guard.

Engozi has gone for a leg lock! Mane slips out almost immediately though and dives into Engozi's guard.


Mane drops back looking for a leg! Engozi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Engozi manages to kick Mane off! Mane jumps back into Engozi's guard.

Mane thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Engozi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mane wants to control but Engozi is keeping him busy.
Mane works his foot free and advances to mount.

Mane throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Engozi has his hands clasped together but Mane breaks the hold and Engozi is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Mane!

Craven is looking to land body kicks.
Robson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Robson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Craven tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Robson was well out of range. Poor timing from Craven.
Craven throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Craven bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Robson's head.
Craven throws a series of punches but Robson avoids them all with ease.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Robson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Destin Craven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Craven swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Takahashi lands a hook that snaps the head of Pollock backwards.

Takahashi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Takahashi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Pollock trying to control the position from guard on top but Takahashi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pollock is looking to stand up but Takahashi won't let him.

Takahashi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pollock defends well.

Takahashi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pollock is aware though and is defending well.

Takahashi is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Pollock frees his head nicely. Oh but Takahashi has switched to an armbar! Pollock is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
