The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moraes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Araujo tries to avoid it but Moraes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Araujo to the ground. Araujo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Araujo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Moraes blocks a head kick by Araujo.
Moraes takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Araujo has cracked Moraes with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Araujo lands another huge swinging hook and Moraes tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Moraes, before Araujo can land any more shots!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gracie.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gracie is defended easily by Silva.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gracie showed some decent athleticism there.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Silva can do anything to dispel that myth.

Gracie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Silva sees it coming and defends easily.

Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Silva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie.
