The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeSoto fails to land with a series of punches.
Yan lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Yan moves out of range as DeSoto strikes.
Yan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Yan fails with the takedown.
DeSoto lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Yan.
Yan has been working on his balance at Desert Fitness & Training -13 Elites/1 Exceptional, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by DeSoto.

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Parker from any more punishment! Parker complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Zatlers closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Zatlers takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Bigelow tries to get to full guard but Zatlers has control of the leg.
Still in half guard, Zatlers seems content to control.
Zatlers works his way into full mount!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zatlers cracks Bigelow with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Bigelow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zatlers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Zatlers throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Bigelow has his hands clasped together but Zatlers breaks the hold and Bigelow is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Zatlers!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragon cracks Bane with a right hand to the side of the head.
Bane tries to close the distance and clinch but Dragon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bane blocks a jab.
Bane wants to counter with a clinch but Dragon pushes him away.
Bane defending well as Dragon loads up on a big left hand.
Bane keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Dragon.
Bane doesn't manage to clinch there - Dragon circles away.
Rayleigh Dragon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bane rushes Dragon and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Dragon gets control of Bane's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dragon will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dragon is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Dragon lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Dragon drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Dragon seems to have locked his on tight now - Bane screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Dragon, as he picks up the win!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muradov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The fighters circle momentarily. Oles darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Oles takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Oles throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Oles swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Muradov swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Oles misses with an uppercut
and Muradov counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Muradov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Oles.
Oles lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Makhmud Muradov has been cut.
Oles throws a big shot that misses.
Oles throws a poor cross that misses
and Muradov counters with a good low kick that Oles was not able to check.

Oles cracks Muradov with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Oles has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Muradov to stand back up!

Muradov is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Oles lands an uppercut, right on the button! Muradov tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lale Oles!
After the fight, Lale Oles was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Farva half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Mac gets caught flat footed, as Farva shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Farva looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Farva scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Mac really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Farva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Farva postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Farva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Farva lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Farva slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Farva advances position into side control!

Farva lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mac down.
Farva connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mac some visible discomfort.

A big shot lands for Farva! That's hurt Mac ! Will he recover? Farva fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Rodney Farva tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
