The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skystalker displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Leonel Da Costa has been cut.
Skystalker stalks Da Costa and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Da Costa's face. Da Costa staggers backwards, shaken.
Skystalker throws a series of punches but Da Costa avoids them all with ease.
Skystalker misses with a double jab.
Skystalker bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Da Costa's head.
Skystalker throws a series of punches but Da Costa moves out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Da Costa shoots in looking for a takedown. Skystalker tries to sprawl out of it but Da Costa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Skystalker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Skystalker sizes up Da Costa with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Da Costa shoots for a takedown but Skystalker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

and Da Costa counters with a body kick that stops Skystalker in his tracks momentarily.
Skystalker throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Da Costa on the side of the head.

Da Costa avoids a punch combination nicely.
Skystalker plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Da Costa to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Da Costa just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Flyweight clinches up with Littleman and pushes him back against the cage.
Flyweight will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Littleman up against the cage.
Flyweight prevents the takedown attempt.

Littleman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Littleman goes for a double leg but Flyweight avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Flyweight continues to drive forward.
Flyweight looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Littleman shoots in for a double leg but Flyweight sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Little Flyweight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Small Littleman.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Knight wants to control but Mendoza postures up.

Mendoza has hold of Knight's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Knight seems comfortable defending it but Mendoza has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Knight is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Knight is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mendoza couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Bomba changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kanigawa looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Bomba tries for a kimura but Kanigawa is defending well.
Bomba is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Bomba is working to tighten his grip on Kanigawa's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kanigawa has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bomba is really squeezing tight and eventually Kanigawa passes out! Bomba breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
