The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds tries to bum rush Field with a series of wild strikes but Field uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Field lands with a kick to the temple. Reynolds shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Johnny Reynolds has been cut.
Reynolds tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Reynolds gets a double leg takedown into Field's guard.
Reynolds is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Field is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Reynolds swings around for an armbar but Field sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Reynolds's guard.

Turner misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Janssen swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Janssen throws a body kick, spinning off balance

Janssen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Janssen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Turner looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Janssen wants to take a breather but Turner manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Janssen.

Janssen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Turner manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Janssen has Turner in his guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Turner enables Janssen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Turner manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Kray shoots for a double leg takedown but Smith sprawls well. He's pushed Kray's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kray moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
