The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cass fails with the takedown
and Ahmad cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cass fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ahmad on the side of the head.
Ahmad scores with a body shot.
Ahmad should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ahmad looks to land a combination. Cass sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Cass misses with a series of wild punches.
Jacob Cass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Ahmad, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ahmad's jab looks to have found its range, popping Cass under the eye.

Ramme is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Cruse is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Cruse flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Ramme anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Cruse and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Ramme slips an arm under Cruse chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Ramme has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Ramme is squeezing on Cruse like an anaconda would it's prey. Cruse fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
