The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pep shoots in and drives through. Kowa sprawls well.
Kowa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pep but Pep pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kowa moves in looking to clinch but Pep pushes him off.
Pep shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kowa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pep sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kowa somewhat.
Kowa dives in and grabs Pep's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pep pushes down on Kowa's head and hops out.
Barin Pep has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Just Kowa.

Lung really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brandt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
