Karelin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sasaki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Karelin somewhat.
Sasaki throws out a loose jab but Karelin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nice defenses there by Karelin.
Karelin moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A telegraphed right hand from Karelin misses the target.
Sasaki lands with a nice body punch.
Karelin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
The fighters circling - Karelin throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Sasaki fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Karelin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Karelin is breathing heavily.
