The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oezdemir stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Oezdemir wants it to stay on the feet.

Oezdemir lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Covid Nineteen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Van Dorestad shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fujinuma manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Fujinuma had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Van Dorestad defends it easily.

Fujinuma has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Van Dorestad can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fujinuma is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Van Dorestad wants to control from the top but Fujinuma keeps moving.

Van Dorestad drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Van Dorestad jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Fujinuma tries to buck Van Dorestad off but Van Dorestad is having none of it.
