Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Felix Chase (ranked 3245 p4p, 355 weight class) and Bread Newal (ranked 3790 p4p, 384 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chase might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Holy Diver. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chase has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Newal can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Road lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Road has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Jerome gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Road gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
