Musashi has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Carvaleho is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Musashi.

Baba cracks Qiang with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Qiang looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Baba finish him?
Baba's coach down at Island Sparring was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Baba's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Qiang is aggressively charging in as Baba backs up avoiding any damage. Baba tosses out a jab and Qiang runs right into it face first! Qiang is out cold! Baba dropped down on all fours and is barking in Qiang's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
