Rose has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Growdy after a bit of a struggle.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frki wants to clinch but Donnley slips to the side

and Donnley decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Frki's guard.
Frki keeping moving, preventing Donnley from controlling successfully.
Frki is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Donnley trying to control the position from guard on top but Frki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Frki is on top in guard.

Frki throws his legs up looking for a submission but Donnley uses it to pass to side control.
The referee asks Donnley politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Donnley prefers to stall for the moment though.

Donnley stands up and beckons Frki to his feet.

Donnley shoots in looking for a takedown. Frki tries to sprawl out of it but Donnley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Frki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Frki is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Donnley sees it coming and defends easily.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Frki connects with a nice short shot to Donnley's temple.

San Frki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Frki is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Donnley is just riding it out for now. Frki eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well Frki has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
