The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Carrilo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Mark Hines has been cut.
Hines ducks right into an uppercut from Carrilo.
Carrilo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Carrilo scores with a hook.
Hines should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Carrilo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hines on the side of the head.

Kirchen throws a series of punches but Goblin moves out of range.
Goblin throws a one two combo.
Kirchen tries to clinch up but Goblin circles away and keeps his distance.
Kirchen keeps the fight on the outside.
Goblin darts in looking for a takedown but Kirchen gets double underhooks and turns Goblin into the cage.
Kirchen stuffs the takedown attempt from Goblin. Goblin gets slowly back to his feet.
Kirchen throws a head kick that misses
and Goblin counters with a one-two to the body.
Kirchen tries to clinch up.
Goblin flicks out a counter leg kick but Kirchen steps away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Goblin dives in for a single leg takedown but Kirchen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Goblin turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Kirchen off and cradles Goblin's limp body as Kirchen celebrates with his corner.

Jahr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Motts sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jahr somewhat.
Jahr on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Motts lands a left and a right that send Jahr crashing to the mat, dazed. Motts thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Motts slaps away a takedown attempt from Jahr, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Motts feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jahr sprawling to the canvas! Jahr rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Motts finish him?!

Jahr is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Motts throws an overhand right that drops Jahr like a sack of potatoes! Motts dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Blood is defended easily by Yonic.

Yonic half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Blood should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Pinales takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Pinales shoots for a takedown but Bessant saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bessant jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Bessant definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bessant moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Pinales takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Bessant tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pinales manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Pinales is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Pinales hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
