Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Silva misses the target.
Miro fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Silva tries to clinch there but Miro circles away.
Miro tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Miro.

Silva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Silva shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Miro's guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

and Miro counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Silva is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Miro tries to land a front kick but Silva steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Miro throws a series of punches but Silva moves out of range.
Sinister Miro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Silva isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Miro stacks Silva on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Miro!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
