The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes misses with a head kick.
Hughes looks to land a left hand but King moved out of range nicely.
King tries to close the distance and clinch but Hughes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
King takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

King is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hughes's half guard.

Sirus Hughes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oh but Hughes is tightening it up a little... King has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! King reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! King taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hughes!

Biernat seems to have got his legs back now.

Cain is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Cain told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Cain connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Biernat tumbling to the canvas! Cain pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Biernat was done - good stoppage!
